The Flush Reducer is used when your hardwood flooring meets other floor coverings, such as vinyl, thin ceramic tile, or low-pile carpeting. If your new hardwood flooring is meeting with a high pile carpet or thick ceramic, use the Threshold trim piece. It is recommended that the Flush Reducer be nailed or glued down.
